Things members can do to reduce energy demand and increase efficiency:
Actions that won't cost you a cent:
Turn the thermastat up a bit!
Unplug computers, stereos, and phone chargers when not in use!
 
Actions that will cost you a few cents:
Weather strip all doors and windows!
Caulk exterior cracks and spaces around doors and windows!
 
Actions that will require some $.$$ investment:
Add attic insulation! (need eight inches above rafters)
Replace old, inefficient central heat and air system!
Replace single pane windows with double pane thermal!
